Website Accessibility
The Lodge at St. Edward is committed to furthering the accessibility and usability of its website, www.thelodgeatstedward.com. The Lodge at St. Edward will be using the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA ("WCAG 2.0 AA") to guide its compliance. The relevant portions of WCAG 2.0 AA will serve as our primary web accessibility standard, though other standards may also be used to provide accessibility to the extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"). Our website will be tested on a periodic basis in accordance with these standards in an effort to ensure accessibility. Some of the testing methods used may include assistive technology such as screen readers and screen magnifiers.

Accessible Routes
Locations
- To the restaurant from lobby: Cedar+Elm and Father Mulligan's Heritage Bar are located in the hotel lobby, level and free of obstructions for access. The Tonsorium Bar is located on level 1, accessed via elevator from the main lobby, is free of obstructions with sufficiently wide access from elevators and through entry opening.
- To the hotel lobby and restaurant from accessible parking: Hotel is valet parking only, with a ramp leading from the front drive to the main entrance. A wheelchair lift is available from the front entrance to reach the lobby level.
- To meeting room/ballroom area: Meeting rooms are located on levels 1 and 2 and are accessible from lobby elevators. Hallways are sufficiently wide and floors are level and free from obstructions.
- To exercise facilities: The guest fitness center is located on level 1 and is accessible from the main elevators. The entry door is sufficiently wide and floors are level and free from obstructions.
Non-Accessible Feature
Due to the historical nature of the property, the back entrance of the hotel is not accessible. However, the front entrance of the hotel is accessible and can be reached from the east drive and ramp marked as the entrance to The Lodge.
Room Reservations
- The hotel’s website allows individuals with disabilities to reserve accessible guest rooms during the same hours and in the same manner as other individuals.
- Accessible guest rooms are held until all other guest rooms of the same type have been rented.
- When the accessible guest room is reserved, it is blocked and removed from all reservation systems and held for the reserving guest and guaranteed, even if the normal practice is not to guarantee.
