Fall Pickleball Clinic

Fall in love with Pickleball this season! Join us at The Lodge at St. Edward for our extended beginner and intermediate pickleball clinic sessions with instructor “Pickleball Rick" Bomar, hosted on Tuesdays through November 26th!
The full clinic package ($120) includes four 90-minute lessons—beginner or intermediate. By the end of the clinic, you will leave with an understanding of the court, rules, and history of the game, equipment, etiquette, gameplay fundamentals (including forehand, backhand, dink, the serve, blocking, overhead), and strategy! Players can also choose to drop in for individual sessions for $35 each.
Class Times:
- Beginner AM Class - 10 AM
- Intermediate AM Class - 11:45 AM
- Beginner PM Class - 5 PM
- Intermediate PM Class - 6:45 PM
About Pickleball Rick:
Rick Bomar’s distinguished career as a Professional Pickleball Instructor spans a commendable six-plus years. Widely recognized as "Pickleball Rick" throughout the Pacific Northwest, Rick annually organizes and oversees over 50 clinics, in addition to coordinating Adult and Youth Pickleball Camps.
Prior to his instructive role, Rick’s competitive prowess shone brightly on the court, competing in mixed doubles, men's doubles, and singles matches—consistently competing at a formidable 4.5 level of play. Notably, Rick has also served as the esteemed City Pro in Marysville, Mill Creek, and Tukwila, as well as fulfilling the role of Club Pro at the distinguished Columbia Athletic Club in Silver Lake and The Bellevue Club.
In recognition of Pickleball's meteoric rise as one of America's fastest-growing sports, Rick has imparted his knowledge and expertise to countless individuals, ranging from novice players to those at an advanced level. His passion for the game is palpable, and he ardently emphasizes the importance of mastering fundamental skills, encapsulated in his creed: "Progress, not Perfection." With unwavering commitment, Rick guides his students toward their desired goals and destinations.
